MATH: Manipulatives such as blocks, counters, and solid objects are used to assist children with number recognition and number value. Weekly grocery shopping, cutting things in parts, gathering information about daily attendance aid children in understanding the concept taught in money, fractions, graphing, and problem solving.
LANGUAGE ARTS: Children can participate in literary expression and creative writing through speech, art, and role playing. They’re also given the opportunity to retell stories and to pay attention to the author, Illustrator, and characters of a story. Letter recognition and letter sounds are taught daily.
SOCIAL STUDIES: As children are grouped for activities, they are given an opportunity to foster social skills. They learn about people and things in their community, their country, and other places in the world.
GENERAL SCIENCE: Children love to learn and talk about things that fascinate them. Weekly science experiments which involves tasting, smelling, touching, seeing, and listening keeps children curious and involved.
